BLOOD ROLL

"Blood Roll," is a digital projection piece with sound, in which a large glass globe, three-quarters filled with blood, seesaws tensely back and forth on a track over a central fulcrum.  The motion moves both with and against the physics of gravity.  The light, color and shadow shift continually.  And then it spins 360 degrees.  There is an accompanying audio track of the straining track and sloshing, roiling blood.
